Many people were hit hard by the
recession, but few as hard as small business owners. Tim and
Laurel Iwig own and operate an independent dairy in Kansas that
has been in business for nearly a hundred years, but thanks to
poor sales and a slowed economy, they are faced with
bankruptcy. What, if anything, is the federal government doing to
help the Iwigs, who along with their small business peers make
up over 90% of U.S. companies? The answer: for all the talk
from politicians, not as much as you’d think. Interviews include
small business expert George Cloutier (American Management
Services, Inc.) and the Iwigs. Shot in Kansas, New York City,
Washington, D.C.
