The Apologist

The Apologist, starring New York film veteran Christopher King (Quiz Show, Devil’s Advocate) and Broadway diva Stephanie Bast (Miss Saigon, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Nine) has been most aptly described as “a whip smart New York comedy” (Jason Ebelthite). Shot on film by Award-winning cinematographer, Jon Miller (American Beer), and edited by Frank Reynolds, editor of the 5-time Academy Award-nominated film In the Bedroom, it features a full orchestral score composed and arranged by Brian Aumueller (Alias).
Synopsis
Joe is a serial apologist. Totally self-absorbed, he says “I’m sorry” so often, even he doesn’t know what the words mean anymore—that is, until a female he tramples refuses his apology. Face to face with his own hypocrisy, he learns just how powerful sincerity can be.
